Occassionally there are features in our garden spaces that simply cry out for more attention.  At night, they are completely lost to the dark except when they are accented and brought to life with light.  Focal features can be anything that might visual precedent over other objects in your garden.  They can be a simple urn, a statue or even a particularly unique plant or tree.  These beautiful items were placed in the garden with purpose and with the intention of being seen.  Why let the night hide these wonderful treasures.  When incorporated into a well conceived lighting design, they will often become even more attractive and visually apparent at night.
